In some cases, when going through the steps to change a primary respondent, you might find that the individual is not a selectable option. The reason this occurs is due to the individual not yet having been added as a point of contact within the Supplier's Profile. Once they are added, you will be able to mark them as a Primary Respondent.

Adding a New Primary Respondent
Scroll to the Suppliers section.
Click on the name displayed under the Primary Respondent column for the supplier that needs a primary respondent added.
Select the Add New Contact button.
Complete the Add Contact form's required fields.
Checkmark Send Invitation.
Select the Done button when finished.
The new contact will now display.
Select the User's Role field for the contact that has a Primary Responder role assigned.
Select another role for the contact (only one contact can have a Primary Responder role at a time).
Change the other contact's User's Role to Primary Responder.
Select Done when finished.
The Primary Respondent will now be updated.
- You can only add one Primary Respondent at a time.
- A Primary Respondent is also called a Primary Responder in CalUsource.
- Only a Primary Respondent can submit a bid.
