In some cases, when going through the steps to change a primary respondent, you might find that the individual is not a selectable option. The reason this occurs is due to the individual not yet having been added as a point of contact within the Supplier's Profile. Once they are added, you will be able to mark them as a Primary Respondent.

Adding a New Primary Respondent
A new supplier contact can only be added prior to publishing your sourcing event. To begin, Scroll to the Suppliers section.
Click on the name displayed under the Primary Respondent column for the supplier that needs a primary respondent added.
Select Add New Contact.
Update resulting Contact window with appropriate details.
Select Done when completed.
Select the dropdown next to the current Primary Responder and update their access to remove Primary Responder Role.
Select the dropdown next to the user you want to be the new Primary Responder and select the new option.
Select Done to update these changes.
- You can only add one Primary Respondent at a time.
- A Primary Respondent is also called a Primary Responder in CalUsource.
- Only a Primary Respondent can submit a bid.
