Creating detailed reports in the Insights & Visions module is accomplished with Filters. To create detailed reports for specific criteria (i.e. supplier name, year, value), use the FILTERS sidebar at the right of the screen.
Activate the Filters
On the left side of the screen, pick a measure or attribute from the Drag & Drop sidebar.
Click and drag your selection into the drop zone on the right side of the screen.

Once you have activated the filter, there are two ways to refine your data:
Selections and Conditions
Selections are choices that you make from values already entered into CalUsource.
Examples: Supplier Names, Campus Names
Conditions are a usually a range of values, or a set of criteria, instead of one single value.
Examples: Greater/Less Than, Percentages, Time Between Specific Dates
Filtering Using Selections
In this example, we will search for specific suppliers.
Enter part or all of your supplier's name and the search will automatically begin.
You can pick as many suppliers as needed, or you can just pick one. When your selection is complete, click APPLY.
Filtering Using Conditions
The conditions for filtering vary based upon the nature of the reporting object.
In this example, the filter is Fiscal Year. The only conditions that appear are time-based.
In this example, the filter is SPEND%. The only conditions that appear are numerical.
Tips and Tricks
View hidden filter values
The Filter Drop Zone, on the right side of the screen, contains the applied filters for the active report. Click on the Filters sidebar to expand the Filters and review the selected options.
